Simbu tweets about his London experiences

Looks like the Twitter bug has now infected Kollywood too! After Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Namitha, it's now Simbu who went on Twitter recently. The actor goes by the name 'Simbuhere'.
“Leaving to London tomorrow morning for Poda Podi costumes and location hunt,” Simbu tweeted on June 13.
Poda Podi, starring Simbu and star kid Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, is all set to begin soon. The film is directed by debutant Vignesh Shiva and produced by Gemini and Padam Kumar. Reportedly the first shooting schedule will begin soon in London.
Sources say that there are many songs and dance sequences in the movie, along with generous doses of comedy and romance. As the title suggests, the film is an energetic rom-com about a vibrant couple full of life and loving to dance; Varalaxmi enacts the role of a Salsa dancer.

SILAMBARASAN IS UNUSUALLY QUIET

Silambarasan, after the astounding success of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, is busy with several prestigious projects. Sources in Kollywood report that the actor is unusually quiet these days and is not seen mingling with the group of friends with whom he frequents various coffee shops and pubs in the city. Silambarasan, however, does not fail to make it to the premières and film shows held.

Sources close to the actor say that the actor is probably working on a project that requires a lot of time and concentration and this could be the reason.

MADDY AND SILAMBARASAN TEAM UP!

The success of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa has bagged Silambarasan a project with Lingusamy. The movie will be made in Tamil and Telugu, revealed the director recently. And in the Telugu version it will be Mahesh Babu playing Silambarasan’s role.

There is yet another weighty character, which is the brother of the hero, and the director had been scouting for a suitable face to cast in it. Finally, Madhavan seemed to have bagged the offer. Sources say that the role is very important to the film and hence Lingusamy wanted someone as popular as Maddy.

It is said that Silambarasan will work on Poda Podi along with this film.
