5 Unknown Elements About 'Vaanam'

Director Krish has been wielding his best of enthuses on drawing finer lines with ‘Vaanam’. On an interesting note, we hear that all the five characters in the film are symbolized with 5 elements of Nature – Air, Water, Earth, Fire and Sky.

Silambarasan: (Sky) – He plays the role of a cable operator and resides in slum areas. But he dreams of flying to richness all the time. It seems that most of the shots for his portions will have more prominence of skies as backdrops.

Anushka (Water) – Though she plays the role of a sex-worker, her character justifies of carrying away the impurities of men and she cannot remain at one place.

Bharath (Air) – His main interests are music and own a rockband of his own. Music and airs always have strong connection. Most of the instruments he utilizes are wind-based instruments.

Prakash Raj (Fire) – A Muslim always drowned in troubles due to his infuriations and short-tempers.

Old Man (Earth) – This Old man considers earth as his body and again his problem revolves around the same factor.

'Vaanam' music launch in London

VTV’ Ganesh, producer of STR-Anushka starrer 'Vaanam', has come out with an explanation as to why they chose to launch the film's audio in London.
"We launched the music of ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’ in London and the film and its songs turned out to be super hit. We just want to cash in on the trend", says Ganesh, who is one of the producers of 'VTV', which also had Silambarasan in the lead.
He adds: "Yuvan Shankar Raja has come out with excellent songs and each on of them has the potential to become a chartbuster. The audio launch function in London on October 15 will mark the beginning of a success journey".

A multi-starrer, 'Vaanam' also has Bharath, Vega, Prakash Raj and Sonia Agarwal in lead roles. Inspired by Telugu blockbuster 'Vedam', the film is being directed by Krish, who has helmed the Telugu version too.

'Vaanam' Climax On The Roll

The entire plot revolves around the conjuncture of 5 characters during, which indeed is the toughest part to be shot. Director Krish has filmed portions involving other actors at an ease as there are no complications. But as the climax portion has all the characters coming together, it will be an interesting quotient as well.

With the completion of climax portion, the entire project will be wrapped up. According to the sources, few more portions involving different characters is to be done.

It looks like the film may get release during last week of November or by first week of December.

Yuvan Shankar Raja and Silambarasan will be releasing a single track for the promotional agenda on October 15.
