I am happy with Osthi: STR

Simbhu is hapy with Osthi, a remake of Hindi hit Dabanng. Says the actor on choosing to do a remake, ' this does not mean there is a lack of new ideas. Good cinema should reach a wider audience. Dabanng was a blockbuster and it is a good movie, there's no harm in sharing the same story with a different section of the audience'.

Heaping laurels on his director Dharani, he adds, 'he got the best out of everyone in the cast and crew. I thoroughly enjoyed all my 87-days of shooting for the movie in Mysore.'

STR adds that it was music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja who urged him to work with Thaman for Osthi.

'The songs are huge hit now. The credit should go to Thaman. He has given nice tunes'.

Richa Gangopahyay and Sonu Sood form part of the cast. Gopinath has cranked the camera.
