Gowtham’S One More Plan For ‘VTV’ Audio

Gowtham sings it loud now – ‘One for the London, One for the Chennai’ as he plans for a bigger strategy of promoting his upcoming flick ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’. The film has been churned out for a big cost in both Tamil and Telugu and the lavish audio launch in London have indeed exemplified it.Nonetheless, the Chennaites are little disappointed with the juncture not being hosted in Chennai. Naturally, this happens to be Rahman’s first Tamil project after his Oscar triumph. The latest we hear is that the album will hit the audio stores shortly by this weekend as Gowtham plans for one more audio launch in Chennai. When it comes to Telugu version, nothing has been revealed about the present status though Gowtham has planned to release the film simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil.Looks like Gowtham Menon has planned to release the films as a Valentine’s Day treat for the young cohorts.

Simbu has finally got his mother!

Actor Silambarasan has now completed penning script for his upcoming film Vaaliban. The film is produced by SS Chakravarthy and was supposed to take off by August 2009. Unfortunately as Gowtham Menon started shooting for Telugu version of Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya, the shooting of Tamil version featuring him and Trisha in lead roles was stalled.
Gradually, now the ‘Little Superstar’ has made use of this time to complete the script works of Vaaliban. According to the closer sources of Simbhu, it has been revealed that the film will start rolling in January after he completes pending portions of Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya. The young actor is still in search of a heroine and has roped in ace actress Urvasi to perform his mother’ role. It’s worth mentioning that Urvasi has been playing mother’s role in most of the Tamil releases including Jeeva’s Siva Manasula Sakthi and Vamanan.

young super star speaks about Valiban

Let’s not get judgmental; let’s forget the Vallavan debacle; let’s set aside the notorious name that he earned after Manmadhan. Let’s only remember that with each of his directorial ventures, Simbu has tried to break a mould. While directed by others, he sticks to the Mass Formula; in his own movies, he loves to explore new territory. And now, he insists Valiban will follow suit.
“Every one experiences the pangs of a one-sided romance at some point in his or her life. The same happened to me. Inspired by the romance and the girl, I have come up with the story for Valiban. I dedicate this movie to her,” explains the publicity material of Valiban that was released just today. Directed by Simbu, the movie is to be produced by S.S. Chakravarthy of Nic Arts. Another important revelation from the publicity is the change in Simbu’s title – he is referred to as Young Super Star as opposed to Little Super Star. Does that signal a sense of maturity? “I’ve been picking scripts simply on the basis of whether I will be able to do the role offered, not thinking about how every role I do impacts my career. But henceforth, I have decided to be more choosey with my scripts,” said the actor, when he met up with Shakthi Girish, Editor, Galatta Cinema. Obviously, he has outgrown the stereotyped roles, and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya is the first step. Coming to Valiban, he reiterated what the publicity materials says, adding, “I wrote and composed a song for that girl. That song will feature in Valiban!” And then he made a solemn promise to let Galatta be the first one to hear it! Keep logging on Galatta, because when we hear the number, we’re sure to share it with you too!
