SILAMBARASAN IS FUMING ABOUT LINGUSAMY

The feud between director Lingusamy and actor Silambarasan has taken an ugly turn with the actor going public with his clarifications on media reports that Lingusamy has sacked him from his next project.

Silambarasan, whose undertone lover-boy performance in VTV was greatly appreciated by fans and critics, was first signed up by Lingusamy's production house Tirupathi Brothers for a movie to be directed by Bhoopathy Pandiyan. Later it was announced that the film will be produced by Dayanidhi Azhagiri's Cloud Nine Movies and Lingusamy will direct it.

In a statement released today, Silambarasan clarified that he did not "technically" sign any film with Cloud Nine Movies. He also told that Dayanidhi Azhagiri is his close friend and they both share a good rapport. Referring to the director, Silambarasan told that Lingusamy never narrated the script for the movie. "I waited for over 100 days in vain for his complete script and then decided to do Vaanam," he had said.

A visibly agitated Simbhu said he was shocked to see reports that he has been sacked from Lingusamy's project. "I had told him that I will be free from September 1. But he jumps the gun and announces that I have been replaced by another actor! This is totally unprofessional and not done," he concluded.
